The European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) and the German Hearing Instruments Industry Association (BVHI) continue to advance the International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians. A newly introduced feature, the EUHA-Live Area, will include a stage and a designated meeting and networking space, enhancing the connection between the Congress and the Industry Exhibition through spatial arrangement and events.
Within the “Partner Innovation Hub,” attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Denmark, a leading location for hearing aid technology and research. Experts will be present to answer questions and engage in discussions.
The “Meeting Point for Apprentices/Students” will focus on fostering young talent in the field. Guided tours will be conducted from this point, with lectures offering practical advice on topics such as preparing for the journeyman examination.
In the “Hearing Aid Acoustics” section, EUHA will highlight its training programs and services for members. Attendees can explore these opportunities while enjoying a coffee.
For the first time, three selected start-ups will also showcase their innovative ideas in a dedicated section.
Congress Opening
The Congress will officially begin on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 9:15 a.m. in the EUHA-Live Area, located in Hall 6. The opening is free for all attendees, with Beate Gromke (EUHA) and Gregor Dittrich (BVHI) welcoming exhibitors and delegates. Lower Saxony’s Minister for Social Affairs, Employment, Health, and Equal Opportunities, Dr. Andreas Philippi, has been invited to deliver a greeting on behalf of the state government.
Denmark’s representative, Peder Søgaard-Pedersen, Director for DI Life Science/Dansk Industri, will also offer remarks, as Denmark is this year’s partner country.
