New editor joins HearingHealthMatters.org

TUCSON, AZ—Kevin Liebe, AuD, has joined the line-up of well-known editors at The Blogs @ Hearing Health & Technology Matters (HHTM). Effective this week, Dr. Liebe has taken over the editorship of Hearing Views, where every week he and guest contributors will share their opinions and perspectives on a wide range of subjects related to hearing.

Liebe, a fulltime clinical audiologist in private practice in Richland, Washington, has been writing about audiology since 2008. He has published consumer-focused articles in local and regional newspapers as well as co-authoring research in the journal Noise & Health. Earlier this year he began blogging at HearingHealthMatters.org, where he has posted on Hearing Economics and Hearing Views.

Liebe is a leader of professional and advocacy organizations, including the Washington State Academy of Audiology (WSAA), where he is president-elect and has chaired the Government Relations Committee. He is also a member and past-president of the Washington Children’s Hearing Aid Alliance, which champions the passage of hearing aid insurance legislation for children in Washington.

Kevin joins editors Holly Hosford-Dunn, David Kirkwood, Wayne Staab, Judy Huch, Robert Traynor, Gael Hannan, Marshall Chasin, Alan Desmond, Bob Martin, and Jane Madell in blogging at HHTM.
