GN Audio Acquires VXi Corporation for $35 Million

LOWELL, MASSACHUSETTS — GN Group’s headset division, GN Audio (formerly GN Netcom), announced today that it has acquired the VXi Corporation for $35 million USD. VXi is the manufacturer of both the VXi and BlueParrott headset brands.

VXi Corporation has shown substantial growth over the past decade, and last year reported annual revenue of $32 million USD. The acquisition of US-based VXi will provide GN Audio with a much stronger presence in the lucrative US headset market.

The acquisition of VXi enhances GN Audio’s position in the US

GN Audio, with its flagship Jabra brand, has a significant global presence in the headset industry and according to company financial reports, contributes more than 35% of the GN Group’s annual revenue.
