ADCO Medical Suppliers announced that it will begin distributing Nuheara’s IQBuds BOOST personal sound amplifier, according to a September 4th press release. The Colorado-based company is a leading distributor of hearing assistance devices and other related technology to the professional market, and also is currently a general Services Administration (GSA) contract holder authorized to supply audiological equipment to the US federal government.

According to the announcement, the IQbuds BOOST provides several levels of personalization and customization, including features such as:
- Ear ID™ assesses users’ hearing thresholds and then automatically calibrates the earbuds to each unique, personal hearing profile.
- Utilizes industry recognized NAL-NL2 prescription formula used by audiologists worldwide to calibrate high-end hearing aids.
- New Focus Feature uses “audio beamforming” technology to isolate and enhance sounds directly in front of the BOOST user, providing even greater conversation clarity in noisy environments.
