EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA & COPENHAGEN, DENMARK — Blueprint Solutions and Ida Institute announce the availability of Ida Institute Telecare patient survey tools as an integrated feature in Blueprint Solutions’ new Online Forms feature.
Ida Telecare offers people with hearing loss easy-to-use tools and resources to help them prepare for appointments and successfully manage daily communication. These online survey form tools can now be issued to the patient directly from Blueprint OMS, and once completed by the patient, stored in the patient record automatically.
Blueprint Solutions is a leading provider of office management software for hearing healthcare. Its latest release features custom Online Forms, allowing electronic completion of intake paperwork, medical history, and surveys prior to the patient’s appointment or for completion on a tablet in the waiting room. Information provided by the patient automatically creates a new patient record or updates the existing patient record in Blueprint OMS to eliminate all paper and manual data entry.
“The Ida Institute survey tools, together with practice’s intake paperwork, are sent to the patient electronically as part of the appointment scheduling process. This allows the patient to provide valuable information about their hearing situation and motivation level to the hearing healthcare provider prior to their visit for optimum appointment outcome. It is a major time-saving feature for both the patient and provider”
–Henrik Nielsen, President of Blueprint Solutions
“Ida Telecare tools help clinicians extend their services beyond the appointment and improve the quality of their care,” says Ida Institute Managing Director Lise Lotte Bundesen. “Patients who consider their motivations before an appointment feel more involved and are better prepared to make decisions about their treatment. The Ida Institute is proud to have our tools shared through Blueprint OMS and to bring person-centered care to such a broad audience.”
