EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – Starkey has partnered with two Minneapolis organizations to create a Minnesota version of Shark Tank, in which small business owners have the opportunity to compete for tens of thousands of dollars in financial assistance ad placement and consulting services.

The campaign, called “Hey, We’re Building a Brand”, includes a weekly segment on WCCO Radio, in which Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich shares insights on running a business during these challenging times.

“Many of our partners are not only hearing healthcare providers, they’re also small business owners. We’ve seen the struggles they’ve faced throughout this pandemic, and we’ve had the opportunity to help them develop new, more agile strategies for coming out the other side even more successful than ever,” Sawalich said.

“We wanted to share the knowledge we’ve gained over the course of this crisis with small business owners in the Twin Cities, and we’re proud of this unique opportunity to give back to our local community.”

Four finalists will be invited on to the radio program throughout the month of August, to share their stories and promote their businesses.

The winner, which will be chosen on September 14, will receive a $35,000 prize package.
