CAMAS, WASHINGTON — Being an audiologist requires hours of preparation, education and time in the classroom and clinic. But succeeding as an audiologist requires even more. That’s the motivation behind Fuel Medical Group’s next session in the Extra-Curricular series.

Extra-Curricular is a monthly virtual symposium designed to give audiology students some of the “extra” skills that will help them thrive. From patient psychology to KPIs to building strong relationships with hearing aid representatives, each session is designed to offer key insights gleaned from Fuel’s work with more than 800 practices across the country.

The December 14th session is at 3:00 PM EST and will be taught by Jim Fedio, Fuel’s Director of Professional Development. Understanding and Maximizing the Audiology Patient’s Experience will help students understand what the patient experience is and why it matters to an audiologist, be able to identify ways to engage with patients to improve satisfaction and outcomes and realize how enhancing the patient experience increases retention and referrals.

Sessions run through May 2022, and all current audiology students are invited to join. Registration is available at FuelCourses.com.
