Dr. Larry Engelmann Sends Report to FDA Re: OTC Hearing Aids

Larry Engelmann, AuD, a former president of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), recently submitted a report to the FDA during its public comment period in advance of the organization finalizing its rules for over the counter (OTC) hearing aids.

According to Dr. Englemann, his viewpoint is that an economic impact study and analysis should have been conducted and considered prior to support of OTC legislation being lent by any hearing industry stakeholders.
