Former ADA President Submits Report to FDA Re: OTC Hearing Aids

Former Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) President, Larry Engelmann, AuD, recently submitted a report to the FDA during its public comment period in advance of the organization finalizing its rules for over the counter (OTC) hearing aids.

Dr. Englemann makes the case that an economic impact study and analysis should have been conducted and considered prior to support being lent by any hearing industry stakeholders.
