SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY — Oticon, Inc. has announced the appointment of Mike Marcinek as Vice President, General Manager, Government Services and Pediatrics. In his new role, Marcinek will develop strategies and drive improvements that enable the Government Services and Pediatric teams to “continue to provide life-changing technology and world-class services to hearing care professionals serving US veterans, active-duty military service personnel and pediatric populations”.

Marcinek brings a wealth of experience in building and leading high-performance teams within the medical device industry. Previously, he was the Vice President, Government and Strategic Accounts for a leading durable medical equipment company and Vice President, Sales and Marketing for a global manufacturer of medical devices and supplies in the surgical market.

Much of his career has been focused on developing innovative ways to grow sustainable business in highly competitive markets through matching the right solutions to customer needs and exceeding customer expectations.

Marcinek holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Clarion University and post-graduate certification in financial management from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

He will be based in Oticon’s US headquarters in Somerset, NJ and will report to Oticon President Gary Rosenblum.
