This week, host Andrew Bellavia is joined by Dave Fabry, the Chief Innovation Officer of Starkey.

In this episode, the pair discuss the development of the newly launched Genesis AI hearing aids, which was a process that is said to have taken over 5 years. The Genesis AI boasts an entirely new chip, compression algorithm, fitting formula, a new app called My Starkey and new professional fitting software. Overall, the Genesis platform is intended to provide a comprehensive and personalized hearing experience for the patient and the professional.

Dave Fabry, PhD, is the Chief Innovation Officer at Starkey, responsible for driving end-to-end innovations within the clinical audiology department. With a Ph.D. in hearing science from the University of Minnesota, he has had an accomplished career spanning academia, clinical roles, and industry positions. Dr. Fabry is also an active member of several audiology societies and is a licensed audiologist in Minnesota, Florida, and Rwanda. His expertise and experience in implementing forward-thinking concepts have been instrumental in shaping Starkey’s superior product designs.
