BPPV in One Minute

I have been focused on patients with vestibular disorders since 1992. That is 23 years. I typically see 7 or 8 people a week with active or suspected BPPV. That’s pretty close to 10,000 people. Each and every one of them got a 5 to 10 minute explanation of the mechanics of BPPV. Ten thousand people, times let’s say 8 minutes each? That is roughly 80,000 minutes I have spent explaining and describing BPPV. That equates to 1,333 hours.

I want to introduce you to Dr. Michael Teixido, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University. He has developed a series of educational graphics and videos. He has one called “Understanding BPPV in One Minute” which is available on Youtube.

Click here to watch the video.

I am going to keep it short this week, and try to make up for some of those 80,000 minutes, but take a look at Dr. Teixido’s website. It may save you hours you will never get back.
