A decade is a long time. A lot can happen over the course of 10 years. For instance, 10 years ago, there was no TikTok, rideshares were less popular than taxis, and streaming television was in its infancy. Also, that was around the time several well-known audiometric equipment distributors and service providers banded together to form e3 Diagnostics, a nationwide organization dedicated to putting the customer first and providing them with a one-stop-shop for all of their hearing and balance instrument needs.
The world has drastically changed since e3 Diagnostics was founded in 2011, and we have adapted with the times. While we still provide the same great, local, and customer-centric service the businesses we’re made up of were built on, we’ve also stayed on the cutting edge of hearing and balance technology. This has enabled us to provide our customers with the most advanced instruments and responsive service so they can provide their patients with the best treatment possible.
Stronger Together
Before founding e3 Diagnostics, Demant, a world-leading hearing healthcare and technology group, had a vision to create a national network of special instrument distributors to effectively sell equipment from the multiple brands they own and provide responsive local service.
However, instead of starting from scratch and competing with existing companies, they made offers to acquire the most renowned audiology equipment distributors across the United States. In the summer of 2011 multiple agreements were finalized between Demant and independent distributors, and thus e3 Diagnostics was born.
The first business to sign was Gordon Stowe and Associates, the leading distributor of audiometric equipment in the Midwest with several offices scattered throughout the region. Shortly after, MSR West and Northeastern Technologies group signed on, and the rest came shortly thereafter.

Ever since coming together as e3, these businesses have worked cohesively to provide customers with unmatched audiometric equipment sales and service. While they are solely responsible for their own territories, they frequently lean on one another to share information, advice, and resources.
The e3 Way
Although Demant acquired all these businesses to make them one, they never forced them to change. In fact, they encouraged them to continue to do the same things that helped build their success. They didn’t have to change the way they conducted business and were able to provide even greater service to the customer because they had the support and resources of an international leader in hearing care technology behind them.
These past 10 years have been incredible – from the amazing advancements in hearing and balance technology our manufacturer partners have made to the rapid growth of our organization. Today, we have over 30 offices across the country, all staffed with highly experienced audiology equipment experts. Our local approach allows us to be your most responsive, helpful option when looking for solutions to help you provide the best care and grow your hearing care practice.
