This just in, as an addendum to this week’s post on AARP-HearUSA! Some of the 6,000,000 AARP members in need of hearing help — previously feared missing — have been found attending the recent AARP convention in Los Angeles.
As predicted by HearUSA, they stood in line to have their hearing checked — at least 12 of them did. Not predicted by HearUSA, the AARP hoard was NOT standing in line in front of HearUSA offices. Proof is shown in this BHI youtube video, showing said MIAs vying for hearing checks at the AARP BHI booth.
We are grateful to BHI for sending out an email newsletter summarizing their valiant search and rescue efforts:
Over a 3 day period at the AARP Convention in Los Angeles, the BHI conducted 21 continuous convention floor hours of free hearing threshold screenings to hundreds of Boomers and senior citizens using our teaching audiogram. At times AARP members stood in a line more than a dozen people long to get tested…
Thanks BHI and keep up the good work! Readers — go the previous blog to see this week’s post.
