Bill Clinton to kick off Hearing Innovation Expo

LAS VEGAS—Former President Bill Clinton will be a keynote speaker at Hearing Innovation Expo 2012, being held here January 4-7 at the Cosmopolitan. Organized by Starkey Laboratories, the largest American hearing aid manufacturer, the unprecedented event is expected to draw 3000 attendees from the hearing care industry.

Clinton, who is founding chairman of the Clinton Global Initiative, was a featured guest at this year’s Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala. After completing his second term as President in 2001, he established the William J. Clinton Foundation, whose mission it is to strengthen the capacity of people in the United States and throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence.

“We are honored to host President Clinton as one of the keynote speakers for this monumental event,” said Brandon Sawalich, senior vice-president of sales, marketing, and customer relations for Starkey. “His strong commitment to people from across the globe through his foundation, along with his experience in office, will provide an impactful presentation for attendees.”

Hearing Innovation is designed to immerse today’s independent hearing care professional on the latest innovations in hearing science, patient care, and business practices.
