SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY – Over 40 employees from Demant came together to participate in the Mary’s Place by the Sea Annual Walk-a-Thon, showing their support for the valuable work of the nonprofit respite home dedicated to women battling cancer. Members of the Demant Care Community, along with other Demant employees, took to the streets in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, and joined virtually from various locations across the country.
Their collective efforts aimed to raise crucial funds that will sustain the services provided by this New Jersey-based charity, offering both in-person and virtual support to women undergoing cancer treatment.
Founded in 2021, the Demant Care Community unites Demant employees in various projects, such as the Mary’s Place Walk-a-Thon, to volunteer and make meaningful contributions to assist those in need in communities throughout the nation. This initiative is part of Demant’s broader Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) program, which comprises voluntary, employee-led groups dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace in alignment with Demant’s core values.
