EDEN PRIARIE, MINNESOTA – Starkey had the privilege of hosting the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Denis McDonough, at its global headquarters last week. During the visit, McDonough toured Starkey’s technology center and manufacturing facilities, and learned more about Starkey’s all-new hearing aids, Genesis AI.
“I want to sincerely thank Secretary Denis McDonough for visiting Starkey headquarters, and his interest in learning about our newest developments,” said Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich. “Our Veterans deserve the best technology and the best care. We look forward to continuing to work closely with him and his colleagues in Washington, D.C., sharing Starkey’s expert industry knowledge that has been acquired over more than five decades as a leader in hearing aid innovation.”
As the sole American-owned hearing aid manufacturer, Starkey provides its latest hearing technology, Genesis AI, to the Veterans Affairs Administration, Department of Defense, and other federal agencies. Genesis AI boasts cutting-edge features, including a new processor, sound, industrial design, fitting software, and patient experience. Additionally, for individuals dealing with tinnitus, the Multiflex Tinnitus Pro management tool has shown effectiveness in alleviating ringing in the ears.
“We are honored that Secretary Denis McDonough chose to visit our campus to learn more about our new technology and the impact it can make for Veterans. Tinnitus and hearing loss are the top two service-related injuries, and it is incumbent upon those of us in the hearing industry to provide our nation’s service members with the latest innovations to improve their quality of life. We are confident Genesis AI will not only treat their hearing loss, but their overall health and wellness.”
