MILANO – Amplifon has launched a new awareness campaign in Italy and Spain, showcasing the emotional richness of life that hearing care can restore. Titled “Un test dell’udito speciale” (A Special Hearing Test), the campaign highlights real Amplifon clients reacting to surprise messages from loved ones during a routine hearing test. These genuine, unscripted moments emphasize how hearing restoration brings people closer to their families and communities, underscoring the importance of hearing care in everyday relationships.
According to the World Health Organization, 1.5 billion people live with some degree of hearing loss—a figure projected to reach 2.5 billion by 2050. In Italy, 7 million individuals are affected, and in Europe, 56% of those with hearing impairment have never had a hearing test, while only 30% check their hearing annually. As hearing loss prevalence grows, so does the evidence linking it to cognitive decline, highlighting the importance of preventive care.
With the message, “It’s not just your hearing. For us, it’s your life,” Amplifon’s campaign illustrates how hearing restoration can dramatically improve quality of life. Central to this effort is the role of hearing care professionals, who support individuals on their path to hearing recovery using Amplifon’s proprietary technologies, scientific methods, and personalized care. The campaign, produced by creative agency Small and Indiana Production, will be aired on major television channels, digital platforms, and social media in both Italy and Spain. Viewers will be able to see the campaign’s heartfelt impact in formats of 90, 30, and 15 seconds.
