Independent Clinic Owners, Hearing Care Practitioners Convene at Beltone’s National Meeting

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Beltone recently hosted its 2024 Independent Together National Meeting at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. The event, held from April 11-13, brought together over 500 independent owners, hearing care practitioners, and patient coordinators from Beltone’s network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The meeting focused on “Putting the Patient First” and celebrating the achievements of Beltone’s network in providing patient-centric care. Attendees had opportunities for learning, networking, and recognition, as well as social activities like an opening night reception and vendor exhibitions.

Beltone’s leadership team, including Sr. Director of Dispenser Relations, Roberta Miller; VP of Sales, Kevin Conners; VP of Marketing, Aaron Brotherton; VP of Finance, Marc Adams; VP of Managed Care, Ronald Gleitman; Head of Beltone Canada, Rob Boucher; and President of Beltone North America, David Molella

Key sessions included a president’s address from David Molella, president of Beltone North America, highlighting the network’s impact on patients’ lives. Other presentations covered Beltone’s strategic focus areas for 2024, insights from GN leadership, and details on Beltone’s latest hearing aid technology featuring Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast.

During an awards ceremony, James Reynolds, an independent owner from Savannah, Georgia, received the President’s Cup for consistently providing high standards of patient care. Other awards recognized top Canadian dispensers, long-serving owners and practitioners with milestone years of service up to 70 years with Beltone.

The meeting also offered educational breakout sessions for owners and practitioners to enhance their practices and patient care services. Hearing care professionals could earn up to 10 continuing education credits. The event concluded with a closing night celebration themed around the 1980s.
