The conference program for the 68th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians is now available, featuring exciting lectures from outstanding speakers. This year, the focus is on Denmark, the partner country, highlighting their contributions to the field.
Participants in the 68th EUHA Congress, set for October 16-18, 2024, in Hanover, can expect a comprehensive program featuring the latest in hearing aid acoustics and hearing system technology. The event will include a Knowledge Symposium, 26 expert lectures, five tutorials, and four Future Friday keynotes.
Knowledge Symposium
The EUHA Knowledge Symposium kicks off on October 16 at 11:30 a.m. with Professor Torsten Dau from the Technical University of Denmark discussing emerging trends in technical compensation strategies for hearing aids. This will be followed by the EUHA Sponsorship and FDHA Award ceremonies, with free admission for all Congress delegates.
Expert Lectures
Covering themes such as “Research & Science,” “Public Health Policy & the Future,” “Marketing & Communication,” and “Practical Application,” over 30 experts will present their findings. Notable sessions include Professor Tobias Neher’s presentation on detecting and preventing rollover at above-conversational speech levels on Thursday, and Sergi Rotger-Griful’s Future Friday Keynote.
Tutorials
Focusing on practical knowledge, tutorials are free for season and combi ticket holders. Topics include CI, hyperacusis, misophonia, customer advice, and leadership skills, with a session on listening effort scheduled for Friday.
Future Friday
On October 18, from 2 p.m., four keynotes will address future-oriented topics in hearing aid acoustics. Speakers include retail futurologist Theresa Schleicher, digital health expert Prof. Dr. David Matusiewicz, AI researcher PD Dr. Bernd Höing, and Sergi Rotger-Griful.
The Congress opening ceremony is on October 16 at 9:15 a.m. in the EUHA-Live Area in Hall 6. All delegates are invited to attend.
