EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – Hall of Fame rockstar Alice Cooper joined Starkey Chief Hearing Health Officer Dave Fabry on the latest episode of Starkey Sound Bites to share his story about hearing loss and combating the stigma of hearing aids. He says, for many professional musicians, hearing loss is an unfortunate reality, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

“At this point now, I would say, anybody that’s in the rock and roll business and is still around after 50 years — and there’s a lot of bands that are out there — we all have hearing problems,” says Alice Cooper.

As a Starkey hearing aid wearer, Cooper also shares how hearing aids have changed his life.

“They did check my hearing, and I found out how much hearing I had lost. Then they put a hearing aid in, and I could hear perfectly again. It was just like being reborn again with your ears.”
