SOUTHLAKE TEXAS, USA — Reinforcing its commitment to expand access to quality hearing care, HearUSA today announced the opening of a new Hearing Center of the Future in Southlake located at 200 N. Kimball Avenue, Suite 206. The company also announced a partnership with the Southlake Senior Activity Center to promote better hearing health through a series of community events.
The new Southlake location joins existing Hearing Centers of the Future in California, Florida, and other locations in Texas as part of a multi-year plan to roll out new centers across the country — expanding access to hearing care for the estimated 48 million Americans living with hearing loss.
At the heart of the new Southlake center lies a consumer-centric environment, allowing patrons to explore prescription hearing aids from leading brands such as Widex and Signia, alongside over-the-counter (OTC) alternatives from Sony. Clients are also offered complimentary hearing evaluations and the opportunity to test different hearing aids under the guidance of licensed Hearing Care Professionals (HCPs).
A noteworthy addition to this launch is the introduction of a HearUSA HearAcademy Learning Center, only the third of its kind in the country. This center serves as a hub for ongoing training for current HCPs, ensuring they remain abreast of advancements in hearing care technology and services, thus ensuring a consistently high standard of care across all HearUSA centers nationwide. Additionally, it acts as a training platform for participants in the HearUSA Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) Apprentice Program, facilitating their journey to becoming licensed Hearing Instrument Specialists.
“At HearUSA, we are dedicated to expanding access to our innovative, client-centric hearing care, with the goal of increasing the number of Americans seeking treatment for hearing loss. This center opening, coupled with our collaboration with the Southlake Senior Activity Center, will heighten awareness around hearing health and ensure local residents receive top-quality professional care, empowering them to embark on the life-changing journey toward better hearing. Moreover, our HearAcademy Learning Center underscores our commitment to professional development, offering greater convenience for current and prospective HCPs in Texas.”
–Nick Mengerink, President of HearUSA
As part of the partnership, HearUSA will organize a series of Listen & Lunch seminars at the Southlake Senior Activity Center, led by a HearUSA HCP. Members of the activity center will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of hearing health and wellness, advancements in hearing aids and care, proper hearing protection, and more. Additionally, members will be eligible for complimentary hearing screenings conducted by the HCP.
HearUSA’s Hearing Centers of the Future are meticulously designed to offer streamlined access to hearing care in a client-centric manner. With a modern and inviting design featuring open spaces and product displays, these centers are staffed by dedicated teams of HearUSA HCPs and Client Experience Specialists (CESs), ensuring clients receive personalized guidance on the adoption of cutting-edge hearing aids. Furthermore, the Hear Better Today program ensures clients leave with evaluated and fitted hearing aids on the same day, eliminating the wait for the transformative benefits of hearing aids.
