LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY – The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) has announced that registration is now open for the inaugural cohort of the ADA Audiology Practice Accreditation Program. The registration deadline is Friday, December 5, 2025, or until a maximum of 50 practices have registered.
The ADA Audiology Practice Accreditation initiative aims to help practices strengthen and streamline operations, align with evidence-based standards, and demonstrate accountability to both patients and payers.
Developed through expert consensus, peer review, and adopted by ADA members in 2025, the accreditation standards emphasize evidence-based clinical and business practices, as well as adherence to ethical, legal, clinical, operational, and relational excellence.
Practices accepted into the inaugural cohort will receive guided support and coaching during the first quarter of 2026, including live and recorded virtual sessions designed to help participants update and formalize their policies, procedures, and documentation in preparation for official accreditation submission by March 31, 2026. While acceptance into the cohort does not guarantee accreditation, the program is structured to prepare participants for a successful review.
Accreditation is valid for a three-year cycle, with a single accreditation fee covering the full term and no annual maintenance costs. Fees for inaugural participants are $1,000 per site for ADA members and $2,500 per site for non-members.
