MILAN, ITALY – Amplifon has announced the acquisition of two companies in the United States: Safe in Sound Hearing, LLC and SISH Tucson, LLC. Together, these companies operate 24 locations in Arizona and were previously the fourth largest franchisee of Miracle-Ear, the brand through which Amplifon operates in the U.S.
The acquired businesses generate combined annual revenues of over $15 million and employ approximately 65 people. With this acquisition, Amplifon increases its number of directly operated Miracle-Ear locations in the U.S. to over 420, complementing approximately 1,200 franchised sites nationwide.
