SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – Audien Hearing has announced a partnership with the Washington Commanders for the 2025–2026 NFL season. The collaboration aims to raise awareness of hearing loss among veterans and provide expanded access to hearing care through the company’s social impact initiative, Audien Cares.

As part of the partnership, Audien will sponsor the USO Club at the Commanders’ “Salute to Service” home game on November 9. The company plans to host 1,000 service members at the event, each receiving a donated pair of over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids. Commanders fans will also be eligible for special promotional pricing on Audien products.

“The fact that hearing loss remains such a prevalent and untreated issue among veterans is unacceptable. It’s time we put our service members first, removing barriers and delivering affordable, accessible hearing care to the people who deserve it most. Partnering with the Washington Commanders allows us to use the power of sports and a passionate fan base to spotlight this need, reach veterans and their families, and honor those who’ve served through meaningful action.”

Hearing loss and tinnitus remain leading health concerns among U.S. veterans. According to the Hearing Health Foundation, they are the top two service-connected disabilities treated at Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers.

Research published in the International Journal of Otolaryngology found that 72% of veterans with tinnitus experienced anxiety, 60% experienced depression, and 58% reported both conditions, underscoring the mental health connection to untreated hearing issues.

“Partnering with Audien, a leader in hearing health innovation, reinforces our team’s commitment to honoring service members, veterans, and their families year-round,” said Jim Rushton, Chief Partnerships Officer for the Washington Commanders. “We are proud to work together to create meaningful experiences for our fans and a continued impact on our military community.”

To coincide with Veterans Day, Audien will hold its “Buy a Pair, Give a Pair” campaign from November 8–11. For every pair of hearing aids purchased through AudienHearing.com, the company will donate a pair to veterans and active-duty military members through its partnership with the Commanders and organizations such as the Boot Campaign.

Audien Cares, launched earlier in 2025, focuses on expanding hearing health access across underserved populations through education, advocacy, and product donations. The initiative includes a pledge to donate 100,000 pairs of hearing aids to people in need, beginning with veterans. The program also provides discounts for active-duty and veteran U.S. military members verified through ID.me.
