MUNSTER, GERMANY – The European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) has announced the call for entries for the 2025 EUHA Sponsorship Award. Now in its 15th year, the award recognizes outstanding academic work in audiology, hearing aid fitting, and customer benefits. Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2025.
“The aim of the EUHA Sponsorship Award is to promote young talent in the industry and provide a platform for emerging scientists to present their research,” said Eva Keil-Becker, Chairwoman of the EUHA Sponsorship Award jury and EUHA Vice President.
Award recipients will receive prize money ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 euros and will have the opportunity to present their work at the 69th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians, taking place on October 20, 2025, in Nuremberg. The winners’ research will also be featured in the specialist journal Hörprofil and published on the EUHA website.
The award has served as a career springboard for many past winners, some of whom have gone on to hold positions at universities and research institutes, establish their own practices, or contribute to expert industry groups.
Eligible applicants include students from universities and applied sciences institutions who have completed their diploma, bachelor’s, or master’s theses within the past 24 months. Submissions should focus on the rehabilitation of auditory communication disorders and demonstrate development potential with practical benefits for the hearing aid industry.
