More than 50 doctoral students in audiology from universities across the U.S. attended the 2025 Oticon Audiology Summer Camp, held August 3–7 in Park City, Utah. The annual program, hosted by Oticon, offered a week of education, collaboration, and career development opportunities for emerging professionals.

Led by Oticon audiologists, researchers, and industry leaders, the camp is designed to help bridge the gap between academic training and clinical practice. Now in its 26th year, the program continues to adapt to the evolving hearing healthcare field while maintaining its mission to equip future audiologists with tools and knowledge for their careers.

“Summer Camp is one of the many ways we support hearing care professionals and students. We believe in sharing knowledge, offering transformative technology and creating opportunities for professional development that ultimately enhance patient care.”

–Virginia Ramachandran, AuD, PhD, VP of Audiology at Oticon, Inc.

The program included sessions on diagnostic audiology, hearing aid technology and development, ACT™ testing, and hands-on demonstrations. Students also had the chance to explore career pathways in clinical practice, academia, government, and private practice. For many, the camp provided a first professional development experience and an introduction to building their networks.
