ReSound’s “Gift of Hearing” Campaign Provides Free Hearing Aids to 390 People

BLOOMINGTON, MINNESOTA – ReSound has announced the results of its annual Gift of Hearing campaign, during which 293 hearing care practices across the United States and Canada donated a total of 780 hearing aids to 390 people. Running from December 2024 through April 2025, this year’s initiative marked the campaign’s highest participation and impact since its launch in 2020.

Since the program began, Gift of Hearing has supported 1,463 individuals by partnering with hearing care professionals who donate their time and expertise. The campaign focuses on providing hearing aids and related services to individuals experiencing financial hardship.

Participating providers selected recipients in their local communities and fitted them with ReSound Nexia or ReSound OMNIA hearing aids. The campaign is part of ReSound’s ongoing partnership with the hearing care community to expand access to hearing technology and care.

According to the Hearing Loss Association of America, approximately 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss, yet only about 1 in 5 individuals with hearing loss currently use hearing aids.

The Gift of Hearing campaign will return for the 2025–2026 season in November 2025.
