LONDON, UK – HyperTribe Music and TinniSoothe have announced a strategic partnership aimed at supporting musicians who experience persistent tinnitus. As part of the initiative, TinniSoothe, a British health tech company, will sponsor five emerging artists from various musical genres, ranging from classical to electronic dance. The selected musicians were identified through a research campaign led by HyperTribe.

Under the agreement, TinniSoothe will provide funding for annual subscription licenses to the HyperTribe platform for the chosen artists and will also donate a TinniSoothe device to each musician.

HyperTribe, founded by British entrepreneur Kimberly Dickson, offers a platform designed to connect emerging artists with mentors, industry networks, and career development resources. The platform also integrates AI to suggest marketing and promotional opportunities. Speaking on the partnership, Dickson stated:

“We have always had an artist-first approach and quickly recognized that the team at TinniSoothe shares these same values. We knew that tinnitus was a prevalent issue in the music industry, but the scale of the response to our campaign was eye-opening.”

According to Tinnitus UK, at least one in seven adults experiences tinnitus. TinniSoothe™ is a wearable sound therapy device designed to provide continuous tinnitus relief without requiring anything in or around the ears. The Class 1 medical device was developed by Howard Presland, who has lived with persistent tinnitus since experiencing hearing issues during a band rehearsal in 2013.

Presland co-founded TinniSoothe Ltd in 2021 alongside Jez Lawson, who played a key role in initiating the collaboration with HyperTribe.

Lawson commented:

“We are delighted to sponsor these five breakthrough artists at a crucial point in their careers. Their stories are unique, but they share a common challenge: living with persistent tinnitus. A musician’s hearing is their most valuable instrument, and chronic tinnitus can be distressing. The TinniSoothe device is designed to help individuals manage the condition, potentially improving their overall well-being. We hope to make a meaningful impact on their musical journeys.”

TinniSoothe actively promotes awareness of mental health issues and supports three UK-based charities through donations from each unit sold: Tinnitus UK, Help Musicians, and Combat Stress, the leading charity for military veterans’ mental health.
