SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY — Oticon, Inc. is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Oticon Focus on People Awards. It is Oticon’s long-standing national program celebrating individuals with hearing loss and the caregivers, educators and professionals who champion their success. This year, the awards will honor three exceptional hearing champions: those who are stamping out stereotypes, advancing care, inclusion and awareness; and making a lasting impact on the hearing loss community.
“At Oticon, we believe that everyone — whether living with hearing loss or supporting those who are — has the power to inspire change. Hearing care professionals stand at the forefront of this mission, transforming lives with their expertise and compassion, and empowering others to redefine what it means to live with hearing loss. The Focus on People Awards honor those contributions, as well as those of patients, caregivers and advocates, shining a light on the incredible stories that inspire us all.”
–Jacob Torpe Winter, Vice President of Marketing for Oticon, Inc.
Anyone can submit themselves or someone they know for the 2025 Oticon Focus on People Awards. Nominees must be 6 years of age or older, with or without hearing loss, and demonstrate exceptional dedication to improving the lives of individuals with hearing loss or creating positive change in the broader hearing loss community. Whether it’s through advocacy, caregiving, education or professional service, the awards seek to recognize contributions that inspire and empower.
Nominations close on June 16. Submissions will be judged and three winners will be selected by the Oticon Advisory Council, a distinguished panel of Oticon customers. The winners will be revealed in late 2025.
Each winner will receive a $2,500 cash prize and a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice. Winners with a hearing loss will also receive a pair of Oticon hearing aids with BrainHearing™ technology.
