AURORA, ILLINOIS – Sonova USA Inc. today announced a leadership transition within its Hearing Instruments (HI) business.
Jimena Garcia, formerly Vice President of Marketing Wholesale for U.S. Hearing Instruments, has been appointed Vice President of Commercial Sales. In her new role, Garcia will lead commercial operations for both the Phonak and Unitron brands.
The appointment reflects Sonova USA’s ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between Phonak and Unitron under the Hearing Instruments U.S. organization, while maintaining each brand as a distinct entity. This change underscores the company’s commitment to providing value and service to hearing care professionals and their patients nationwide.
Jason Mayer, who previously served as Vice President of Commercial Sales, will transition to Sonova’s global headquarters in Switzerland to take on the role of Vice President, Hearing Instruments Wholesale EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Asia) and Distributor Markets at Sonova Group.
“These leadership changes showcase the strong talent and expertise within Sonova. We look forward to building on this momentum to better support hearing care professionals, strengthen our partnerships, and deliver even greater value to the patients they serve.”
