STAMFORD, CONN. – Synchrony (NYSE: SYF), a consumer financial services company, has announced a new partnership with Audibel to provide CareCredit credit card and installment loan solutions as the preferred financing option online and at Audibel’s retail locations nationwide. Through this agreement, patients will have expanded access to financing for hearing exams, hearing devices, and related accessories.

Demand for hearing health support continues to increase. A recent Synchrony study found that about one in five consumers reported experiencing potential symptoms of hearing loss, yet fewer than 10% had visited an audiologist in the past year. While 70% of respondents said hearing was a priority, most noted they would only pursue a hearing check if they developed noticeable symptoms or if the service was free.

“Hearing plays a significant role in how we experience life and connect with loved ones. We know hearing health can have a major impact on overall physical and mental well-being, which is why our partnership with Synchrony is so important. CareCredit can help people access the care our teams provide and benefit from the hearing devices that best meet their needs.”

–Michael Tease, Chief Retail Officer at Audibel

Audibel offers personalized hearing technologies and treatments through more than 1,000 locations nationwide, connecting patients with licensed hearing professionals through in-person and remote appointments.

“We’ve seen through our research that patients often need additional financial resources to pursue hearing care more proactively,” said Amar Malik, Vice President and General Manager, Vision and Hearing at Synchrony. “Solutions like CareCredit give them a way to access care that fits their financial situation, with clear and understandable resources and tools. We’re excited to extend our financing solutions to even more patients through our partnership with Audibel.”

The CareCredit credit card is accepted at more than 11,000 audiology and hearing practices across the country, including Audibel’s retail locations. Synchrony will also provide installment loan options ranging from 12 to 60 months.

Synchrony offers resources and tools to help patients understand costs and financing solutions for health and wellness care. More information about CareCredit is available at www.carecredit.com. For additional details about Audibel, visit www.audibel.com
