FRANKFORT, KENTUCKY – The Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) has launched the AuDvantage Membership Program, a new initiative designed to strengthen state audiology associations, encourage professional engagement, and support the long-term future of the profession.

The program is built on a simple principle: the audiology profession grows, thrives, and succeeds when state audiology associations grow, thrive, and succeed.

“AuDvantage represents ADA’s long-term commitment to strengthening state audiology associations and increasing collaboration, information sharing, and advocacy within and across states to advance the profession of audiology and improve access and outcomes for the patients we serve. ADA is aiming for 100% ADA member participation in their state associations. And, we believe it is so important that we are willing to make a substantial investment to offset the cost of their state memberships completely.”

–Jill Davis, Au.D., President of ADA

Two Membership Benefits

The AuDvantage program offers two membership opportunities for audiologists:

  • Current ADA members who join or renew their state audiology association membership will receive a dollar-for-dollar discount on their 2027 ADA membership dues, equal to the amount paid in eligible state association dues. Participants simply complete the AuDvantage form.
  • New ADA members—or audiologists who have not been ADA members within the past three years—will receive complimentary ADA membership through December 31, 2027 (up to an 18-month, $900 value) when they join or renew their state association membership. Participants simply complete the AuDvantage form.

Supporting State Associations

AuDvantage also introduces the ADA State Association Partner Program, providing participating state associations with ready-to-use communications resources, member participation reporting, and future eligibility for State Advocacy Investment Grants beginning in 2027.

An Emerging State Initiative also extends participation opportunities to audiologists in states without an active state association. Audiologists practicing in those states are encouraged to contact Stephanie Czuhajewski at [email protected] for additional information.

ADA will administer AuDvantage directly, creating no additional administrative burden for participating state associations. Audiologists simply submit proof of state association membership to ADA, which handles verification, application of benefits, and participant communications.

Audiologists and state audiology associations interested in learning more can visit the AuDvantage page or contact Parker Allen at [email protected].
