Amplifon Renews Partnership with La Scala Theatre to Expand Access to Music and Hearing Awareness

MILAN, ITALY – Amplifon has renewed its partnership with La Scala Theatre in Milan for the third consecutive year, continuing its support of the “Invito alla Scala” initiative aimed at expanding access to theater performances for students and senior citizens.

Through the collaboration, Amplifon will again support the midweek concert and ballet program reserved for students and seniors, providing favorable access to performances.

The current edition aims to involve more than 20,000 participants, including schoolchildren, adults, and seniors. Since 2024, the partnership has reached approximately 50,000 people.

The partnership renewal aligns with Amplifon’s broader focus on the connection between music, listening, and hearing health. The initiative is part of the company’s “Listen Responsibly” communication program, which seeks to raise awareness among young people about responsible listening and hearing prevention. The program also supports Amplifon’s Sustainability Plan, which includes a goal to engage at least 10 million people under the age of 35 in hearing awareness initiatives by 2028.

According to the World Health Organization, around one billion people under age 35 worldwide are at risk of early hearing loss due to noise exposure and unsafe listening practices.
