MILAN, ITALY — Amplifon reported stronger growth and improved profitability during the second quarter of 2026, with the hearing care company recording its highest organic quarterly growth in two years and reaffirming its outlook for the full year.
For the first six months of 2026, Amplifon reported consolidated revenues of €1.186 billion (~$1.37 billion USD), representing growth of 1.3% at constant exchange rates compared with the same period in 2025. Organic growth reached 3.5% and was distributed across all of the company’s major geographic regions.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) totaled €298 million (~$344 million USD), an increase of 3.6% from the first half of 2025. The adjusted EBITDA margin increased by 70 basis points to 25.1%.
Adjusted net profit reached €101.6 million (~$117 million USD), up 12.3% from the prior-year period.
Second-Quarter Growth Accelerates
Amplifon’s performance accelerated during the second quarter, when consolidated revenues reached €606 million (~$699 million USD). Organic growth was 4.7%, the company’s strongest quarterly result in the past two years.
Second-quarter adjusted EBITDA increased 6.1% to €156.2 million (~$180 million USD), while the adjusted EBITDA margin rose by 90 basis points to 25.8%. Adjusted net profit increased 17.1% to €57.2 million (~$66 million USD).
The company said the results reflected growth across its geographic markets and the impact of initiatives and investments introduced during 2025. These included its Fit4Growth program, which is intended to improve operational efficiency and strengthen profitability.
As part of that program, Amplifon has taken steps to optimize its clinic network, including closing more than 200 clinics, divesting its UK business, and ending a managed care agreement in the United States. The company continued to invest in marketing and other areas intended to support its brands and clinic operations.
“In the second quarter, we delivered excellent results, achieving our highest organic growth in the past two years, outperforming the market across all geographies and significantly improving profitability. These results confirm the effectiveness of the many initiatives and investments undertaken in 2025, which are now delivering tangible outcomes and further strengthening our competitive position.
The very positive results achieved in the first half, together with the solid start to the third quarter, reinforce our confidence in the outlook for the full year 2026.
We are also looking with great excitement at the opportunities that will arise from the integration with GN Hearing, a strategic step that will accelerate the Group’s growth, innovation and transformation, creating further value for all our stakeholders.”

Performance Across Global Markets
In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Amplifon reported strong organic growth during the second quarter, supported by performance in Southern Europe. First-half adjusted EBITDA for the region reached €236.5 million (~$273 million USD), with the margin increasing to 30.5%.
In the Americas, organic growth reached 6.3% during the first half and 6.0% during the second quarter, which the company said was above the broader market. In the United States, stronger private-pay activity more than offset a contraction in the insurance segment. First-half adjusted EBITDA for the Americas totaled €56.8 million (~$65 million USD).
Asia Pacific recorded organic growth of 4.6% during the first half, supported by performance in Australia and China. The region’s adjusted EBITDA increased 9.4% to €47.8 million (~$55 million USD).
2026 Outlook and GN Hearing Integration
Amplifon reaffirmed its previously announced expectations for 2026. The company continues to anticipate organic growth above 3% and an improvement in its adjusted EBITDA margin of approximately 100 basis points, assuming no further significant slowdown in global economic activity.
The company also said planning for its proposed acquisition and future integration of GN Hearing is progressing according to schedule. Amplifon announced the planned acquisition in March 2026.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals and completion of the process to separate GN Hearing from GN Group. Until the transaction closes, Amplifon and GN Hearing will continue to operate as separate and independent companies.
