Dr. Brian Taylor Joins Neurotone AI as VP of Clinical Research and Professional Relations

GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA — Neurotone AI has announced that audiologist and researcher Dr. Brian Taylor has joined the company as Vice President of Clinical Research and Professional Relations.

In his new role, Dr. Taylor will support the company’s clinical research efforts, including the development of new studies, strengthening the evidence base for aural rehabilitation, and helping providers integrate brain-based hearing care into clinical practice.

Brian Taylor, AuD

Dr. Taylor brings nearly three decades of experience in audiology, with a background spanning research, clinical care, and professional education. He currently serves as editor of Audiology Practices, a quarterly journal of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, editor-at-large for Hearing Health & Technology Matters, and adjunct instructor at the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Neurotone AI, he served as Senior Director of Audiology at Signia.

Dr. Taylor is also the author of several textbooks, including Audiology Practice Management, which is widely used by clinics to support both operational and patient care improvements. Earlier in his career, he contributed to research on the original LACE program, which informed the development of Lace AI Pro.

His work has focused on connecting clinical science, technology, and practice management, with an emphasis on translating research into practical tools that improve patient outcomes and clinic performance.

Carlson noted that Dr. Taylor’s appointment reflects growing interest in aural rehabilitation as part of hearing healthcare.
