SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA — Ting Therapeutics Inc. announced plans to co-host a special event focused on hearing health innovation and investment ahead of the BIO International Convention (BIO 2026), scheduled to take place this June in San Diego.
The event, titled “Invest in Hearing”, will feature a Hearing Startups Showcase and investor reception on Sunday, June 21, 2026, beginning at 2:30 PM PDT at Genesis Downtown in San Diego. The gathering will take place just before the start of BIO 2026, one of the world’s largest biotechnology conferences.
The event is expected to bring together accredited investors, early-stage hearing therapeutics companies, advocacy organizations, and members of the media to explore emerging opportunities in hearing health innovation.
Highlighting Innovation in Hearing Therapeutics
The showcase will spotlight companies and researchers working on new approaches to hearing loss, including therapeutics, diagnostics, and technologies designed to improve ear and hearing health.
Participants are expected to include early-stage companies and translational researchers active in the hearing therapeutics and diagnostics space, as well as contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) and contract research organizations (CROs) seeking partnership opportunities.
The event also aims to bring together advocacy groups and investors interested in supporting innovation and accelerating development of new hearing treatments.
In recent years, hearing therapeutics has emerged as a growing area of biotechnology investment, with companies exploring gene therapies, regenerative medicine, small-molecule drugs, and biologics designed to prevent or reverse hearing loss.
Event Program
The Invest in Hearing program will run from 2:30 PM to 8:30 PM PDT and will include a series of sessions highlighting innovation and investment opportunities in hearing health.
The program will focus on research and development activity in hearing therapeutics while also highlighting emerging investment opportunities and efforts to raise public awareness about hearing health.
Ting Therapeutics, which is involved in developing treatments for chemotherapy-induced hearing loss, is among the companies supporting the initiative.
The event will take place at Genesis Downtown, located at 1155 Island Avenue in San Diego.
