BLUFFDALE, UTAH & NEWARK-ON-TRENT, U.K. — Listen Technologies, a provider of advanced wireless listening solutions for more than 27 years, and Ampetronic, a global leader in hearing loop systems, have announced the promotion of Mikey Shaffer to vice president of North American sales. In this role, Shaffer will focus on accelerating revenue growth, expanding market presence, and optimizing channel performance across North America.
She leads the North American sales teams and channel partners supporting Listen Technologies and Ampetronic assistive listening solutions and reports to Maile Keone, president and CEO of Ampetronic | Listen Technologies.
Shaffer joined Listen Technologies in 2016 and has held roles spanning marketing, vertical markets, and regional sales. Most recently, she served as senior director of sales in North America, where the team experienced a period of sustained growth and operational development under her leadership.
Throughout her tenure, Shaffer has worked closely with integrators, consultants, and venue operators, while also engaging with individuals who rely on assistive listening solutions. This experience has helped her develop a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and the factors that drive adoption of accessible audio technologies.

Shaffer has been active in promoting awareness of assistive listening solutions and educating both venues and end users about how these technologies support accessibility and improve communication in challenging listening environments.
Through webinars and outreach, she also shares information related to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and broader global accessibility standards for assistive listening systems.
Prior to joining Listen Technologies, Shaffer worked with the local deaf and hard of hearing community in Utah to help provide telecommunications accessibility solutions.
Expanding Accessible Audio Solutions
In her new role, Shaffer and her team will continue supporting Listen Technologies and Ampetronic’s portfolio of assistive listening and communication systems. These include Auri™, an Auracast™ broadcast audio-based assistive listening system, ListenWIFI, an audio-over-Wi-Fi solution, and ListenTALK, a mobile two-way communication platform.
The companies’ solutions are designed for real-world environments and aim to support accessibility requirements across applications such as assistive listening, audio description, streamed audio, and interpretation support.
