SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY — Oticon, Inc., a hearing aid manufacturer and part of the Demant Group, announced the appointment of Michael Lamberson as President, U.S. Wholesale, effective March 2, 2026. Lamberson succeeds Ty Lee, who served as interim President during the leadership transition while continuing in his role as Group President, Demant North America.
In his new role, Lamberson will oversee Oticon’s U.S. wholesale organization, including the Independent Channel, Government Services & Pediatrics, Marketing, Audiology, and Customer Experience teams.
Leadership Transition
According to the company, Lamberson will focus on strengthening innovation, leadership, and commercial operations across Oticon’s U.S. business.

Background in MedTech Leadership
Lamberson brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial and general management leadership. Earlier in his career at Johnson & Johnson, he led commercial operations for businesses exceeding $1 billion in revenue. His experience includes work at Acclarent, where he collaborated with ENT surgeons and specialists, building relationships within clinical professional channels.
He later served as Chief Commercial Officer and held senior commercial leadership roles across several health technology companies, working with clinicians across professional, government, and managed care environments. His work has focused on expanding adoption of advanced medical technologies while supporting both patient outcomes and clinical practice needs.
Most recently, Lamberson served as Founder and CEO of LAUNCHSMITH, advising health technology companies as an interim CCO/CMO and strategic advisor. In that role, he supported organizations bringing clinically focused technologies to market while building long-term professional partnerships.
Lamberson holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
