SHAKOPEE, MINNESOTA — ReSound announced that 500 individuals received hearing aids through its annual Gift of Hearing campaign, which ran from November 2025 through April 2026. The initiative involved 346 hearing care practices across the United States and Canada, resulting in the donation of 1,000 hearing aids.
Now in its sixth year, the program reached its highest level of participation and impact to date. Since launching in 2020, the Gift of Hearing campaign has helped a total of 1,963 people gain access to hearing care and hearing technology.
“The continued growth of the Gift of Hearing campaign has been incredible to see,” said Mikkel Knudsen, President of ReSound North America. “We are proud to partner with hearing care professionals everywhere who are making a real difference in people’s lives. These results speak to the care, generosity and dedication of this community.”

The campaign partners with hearing care practices that donate professional services while ReSound provides hearing technology. Participating practices received either ReSound Vivia or ReSound Enzo IA hearing aids to award to individuals selected by their clinics.
According to the Hearing Loss Association of America, approximately 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss. An estimated 28.8 million adults could benefit from hearing aids, though fewer than one in five currently use them.
ReSound said the 2026–2027 Gift of Hearing campaign is scheduled to return in November 2026.
