For 2018, Jabra has unveiled the latest expansion of its popular line of hearable devices. The third generation devices, the Elite Active 65t and Elite 65t, include compatibility with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, as well as Apple’s Siri on iOS devices, and Google Assistant for Android devices.
The Elite 65t is designed for daily use, while the Elite Active 65t focuses on those users with more active lifestyles that enjoy exercising and sports. Both are said to offer high fidelity wireless calls and music streaming, and offer up to 5 hours listening time. The carrying case, which is bundled with the earbuds, offers an additional 15 hours of charge.
“This is a whole new range of superior sound products, based on our vast knowledge and customer feedback from earlier wireless generations.”
–René Svendsen-Tune, Jabra COO
Unlike prior models, the heart rate monitor has been left out of the new wireless earbuds, though they will still include an accelerometer motion sensor in order to track your exercise and metrics such as cadence when running or walking, via the Jabra Sport Life app.
