EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – Starkey has announced a partnership with Inventis to offer “game-changing fitting technology to hearing professionals around the world”.
Compatible with Starkey’s REM Target Match tool, the Inventis Trumpet is capable of performing quick and accurate in-situ measures thanks to its small and lightweight probes and its built-in amplified speaker.
REM Target Match, released earlier this year, automatically communicates with Real Ear Measurement systems to provide a more accurate and efficient fitting experience. Trumpet takes this fitting technology one step further, as a diagnostic audiometer for carrying out air, bone and speech audiometric exams.
“This new technology is a groundbreaking solution for a common pain point faced by hearing healthcare providers. By creating a more comfortable and accurate fitting experience for patients, we are improving the performance potential of the hearing aid. The more accurate the fitting, the better the sound quality will be.”
Controlled directly from a provider’s computer, Trumpet offers an intuitive software interface, making it a compact and portable system with no compromises.
“Finely designed and extremely powerful, Trumpet is the result of market demand for a fully-featured REM system that is also user-friendly,” said Inventis CEO Massimo Martinelli. “We are proud to partner with Starkey to bring this new tool into the offices of clinicians around the globe. Together, we will help them achieve a better fit, which will mean better hearing.”
Additionally, Inventis’ new wireless probes for Trumpet REM are now available. A stable Bluetooth® connection guarantees up to four hours of continuous transmission. When the examination is complete, the probes can be repositioned on the Trumpet, which is equipped with a wireless charger.
