The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), representing the $422 billion US technology industry, has named Nuheara as its “Company of the Year” for 2021.

The CTA represents over 2,200 consumer technology companies in the US that employ 18 million people and organizes the massive Consumer Electronics Show (CES®) in Las Vegas each year.

Nuheara will be presented with this award at the CTA Hall of Fame annual awards dinner held Thursday evening, November 11 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.

Commenting on the award, CTA President & CEO Gary Shapiro said: “The Hall of Fame celebrates our rich heritage by honoring the legends in the consumer tech industry. Each year, we recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of industry leaders who have advanced consumer technologies that improve lives around the world.”

“After we successfully launched IQbuds on Indiegogo in 2016, CES has been a critical landing pad for Nuheara since 2017. Launching each new generation of IQbuds at CES has been an important part of our journey and we are thrilled that in five short years we have been named “Company of the Year” by the Consumer Technology Association.”

–Justin Miller, Nuheara Co-founder, Managing Director & CEO

As hearable pioneers, the award helps provide further validation of Nuheara’s innovation and technology leadership. It builds upon the global recognition of being named as one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2020 along with other esteemed innovation awards last year.

“After reporting an outstanding year of growth in FY21 that saw revenues increase 517%, what better way to be recognized for our performance than have the world’s leading consumer technology organization name Nuheara as their ‘Company of the Year’ for 2021.”

“With a lean operating model, we punch far above our weight in terms of product innovation, and this award is a testament to the talent and dedication of all our team as we strive to improve the quality of life for our customers through improved hearing experiences,” continued Miller.

To be selected as ‘Company of the Year’ among so many outstanding companies that make up the CTA, demonstrates the growing brand awareness of Nuheara in the USA, which now represents over 60% of Nuheara’s revenue. Following President Biden’s recent Executive Order to fast track OTC hearing aids and Nuheara’s announcement on clinical trials for a newly developed range of hearing aid products, the US market represents fertile ground for future hearing innovations from Nuheara.”
