67th International EUHA Congress to Showcase Industry Advancements

FRANKFURT/MAINZ — Hearing aid professionals and enthusiasts from around the world are gearing up for the highly anticipated 67th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians, set to take place in Nuremberg. This annual event serves as a hub for the hearing aid industry, offering a platform for experts to share knowledge and showcase the latest advancements in the field. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect at this year’s congress and industry exhibition.

Expert Lectures and Industry Exhibition

The heart of the congress lies in its educational offerings, with a total of twenty-four expert lectures, five tutorials, a roundtable discussion, and four captivating Future Friday Keynotes on the agenda. Delegates can delve into a diverse range of topics, gaining insights into the cutting-edge developments in hearing aid acoustics. Of note, Thursday afternoon will feature business-focused discussions, promising valuable insights into the industry’s commercial landscape.

In Halls 4A and 3A of the Industry Exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest innovations, services, and products presented by 130 international exhibitors from 17 countries.

Congress Get-together: “Hit the slopes”

Adding a dash of fun to the event, the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA), the Federal Association of Hearing Aid Acousticians (BVHI), and the German Hearing Aid Industry Association (FDH) are hosting the Congress Get-together on Thursday night, October 19, 2023. The theme, “Hit the slopes in red & white!,” pays homage to Switzerland, this year’s partner country. The celebration will take place at the “Resi” nightclub, conveniently located in Nuremberg’s main railway station. Attendees are encouraged to dress in matching outfits, either in the Swiss national colors of red and white or in après-ski attire. The night promises great party music, delectable snacks, and a lively atmosphere.

Staying connected and informed is made easy with the EUHA app, providing attendees with up-to-the-minute details about the 2023 EUHA Congress. On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the congress will kick off with its opening ceremony at 9:15 a.m. Later in the day, at 5 p.m., a Get-together event with complimentary drinks will conclude the first day of the exhibition. On Friday, the stage will be dedicated to young professionals in the industry, providing them with essential information about training, the congress, and the field of hearing aid acoustics.
