EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – When Starkey launched Genesis AI featuring an all-new processor, all-new sound, all-new industrial design, all-new fitting software, and all-new patient experience, “it redefined the future of hearing health”.

With the industry’s most advanced processor technology, the longest lasting rechargeable battery in a RIC (51 hours from a single charge), the smallest rechargeable RIC with sensor, the best dynamic range, and the smallest custom product, Genesis AI is “breaking barriers”.

Enhancing Genesis AI Line-Up

Starkey has unveiled a new a: the industry’s smallest 2.4 GHz CIC, which is now powered by the Starkey Neuro Processor and features the incorporation of Neuro Sound Technology.

Additionally, the Genesis AI product line includes a newly designed standard case with ergonomic considerations, catering to the battery preferences desired by both providers and patients.

This includes the introduction of the Genesis AI RIC 312 model. Notably, both the wireless CIC and the RIC 312 boast a 25% increase in battery life compared to previous technological iterations.

“At Starkey, we are continuing to push the edge of what is possible. Thanks to unprecedented sound quality in noise and in quiet, more first-fit success and satisfaction, and a patient experience that goes far beyond better hearing, Genesis AI is the hearing technology the industry and its patients deserve.”

–Brandon Sawalich, President and CEO of Starkey

With the launch of Genesis AI, Starkey revealed the all-new Neuro Processor. Packed with 6X the transistors and 4X the speed, it was created to mimic the function of the central auditory system through an all-new compression system and an on-chip Deep Neural Network (DNN) accelerator. Edge Mode+, Starkey’s second generation intelligent, on-demand feature just got even better with enhancements to the DNN algorithm. It is now trained on a more diverse database of sounds to ensure patients can hear better anywhere they go.

Additional enhancements to Genesis AI include both professional and patient updates including Offline Mode, improved 2-Way Audio, Feedback Canceller updates, and firmware update notifications through the My Starkey app.

Releasing new enhancements to Genesis AI on the heels of the first longitudinal study to reveal that hearing aids can reduce cognitive decline in older adults at a higher risk, “the time has never been better to offer hearing technology that encourages better social, cognitive, and physical health. Genesis AI was engineered from the ground up knowing that hearing care is brain care™.”
