OLD LYME, CONNECTICUT — Sennheiser has announced the launch of two new situational hearing products to improve the way people listen in real-world environments. The TVS 200 and ConC 400 models “offer exceptional features and cutting-edge technology, all packaged in sleek designs”.
These innovative products aim to address the common struggles faced by individuals who find it challenging to follow conversations in noisy settings or while watching TV.
TVS 200 – Personalized Listening for TV
Sennheiser’s TVS 200 is ideal for shared television watching spaces like family rooms and bedrooms. This true wireless device provides crystal-clear speech and personalized listening levels to enhance dialogue often drowned out by background noise in news programs, sports broadcasts, and movies. The cable-free design ensures comfort during extended listening sessions, and its compact transmitter connects to a wide range of TVs.
Additionally, users can connect the TVS 200 to their tablets and smartphones via Bluetooth®. The device offers ambient awareness, the ability to link multiple earbud sets to one transmitter, and up to 15 hours of continuous listening per charge. It also features a companion app for further customization and compatibility with Android smartphones, iPhones, and tablets.
The ConC 400 – Situational Hearing Enhancement
For situations with constant background noise, such as restaurants and public transportation, Sennheiser presents the ConC 400. This product is specifically designed to block distractions while enhancing speech clarity. Each earbud is equipped with specialty beam-forming microphone arrays that analyze the noise level of the environment, automatically optimizing the wearer’s ability to understand the person speaking to them. With Bluetooth connectivity and multipoint functionality, wearers can seamlessly switch between in-person conversations, smartphone calls, and media streaming.
The ConC 400 also features Active Noise Cancellation and an Ambient Awareness mode to stay connected with the surrounding world. With a battery life of nine hours per charge and a carrying case that provides an additional 27 hours of usage time, the ConC 400 is a versatile companion for social situations.
