EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – Starkey has announced that its all-new Genesis AI hearing aids have been named a silver winner of the 2023 MUSE Design Awards in the Product Design, Medical Device category. This is the second consecutive year Starkey has received this recognition and marks the third award won by the completely redesigned hearing technology since its launch this February.
Having received over 6,000 entries from all over the globe, the MUSE Design Award is an international competition that honors excellence in creativity, innovation, and quality.

The Starkey Neuro Processor within Genesis AI utilizes advanced processor technology to mimic the function of the central auditory system through an on-chip Deep Neural Network accelerator. This processor is the smallest and most powerful ever developed by Starkey, featuring 6X more transistors, 5X more computational memory, and 10X more non-volatile memory. Additionally, the Genesis AI’s power-efficient architecture provides more than double the battery life compared to previous technologies.
