MILAN, ITALY – Amplifon, a global leader in hearing solutions and services, announced the signing of a new sustainability-linked credit facility with Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A., for a total amount of €75 million (~$80.2M USD).
This loan, amortizing with a 5-year term, builds on Amplifon’s existing five sustainability-linked credit facilities, reflecting the company’s commitment to further integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into its business and financial strategies. A margin adjustment mechanism linked to specific indicators in Amplifon’s Sustainability Plan will be applied to the loan, aligning financial performance with sustainability achievements.
The facility offers particularly favorable conditions, bolstering Amplifon’s liquidity position, diversifying funding sources, and extending the average maturity of its debt portfolio.
