SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Building on the momentum from the U.S. and Europe, Starkey launched its Genesis AI hearing aids in Australia and New Zealand. The Genesis AI is characterized by its sleek, discreet design and advanced technology, offering enhanced sound quality, reliability, increased first-fit success, and patient satisfaction.

The focus extends beyond improved hearing, aiming to redefine industry standards and meet the expectations of both the industry and its users.

With the industry’s most advanced processor, the longest lasting rechargeable battery in a RIC (51 hours from a single charge), the smallest rechargeable RIC with sensor, the widest dynamic range, the industry’s smallest new 2.4 GHz CIC, waterproof rechargeable products, and the smallest custom product, Genesis AI continues to break barriers around the world.

Genesis AI’s all-new Starkey Neuro Processor is packed with 6X the transistors and 4X the speed. The Neuro Processor was created to mimic the function of the central auditory system through an all-new compression system and an on-chip Deep Neural Network (DNN) accelerator. Packed with the industry’s most sophisticated technology, Genesis AI hearing aids make over 80 million adjustments per hour automatically, resulting in more distinct, true-to-life sound quality than ever before.

“With Genesis AI, we have greatly expanded the capabilities of hearing aids beyond traditional expectations. It is the largest leap forward ever in hearing technology, transforming hearing aids from single function listening enhancement devices into discreet, multipurpose health and communication tools. The new technology is already changing lives in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and we are excited to launch in Australia at the Sydney Opera House.”

–Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich

Sawalich and Chief Technology Officer Achin Bhowmik, Ph.D, along with other members of the Starkey executive team, attended the Australia launch event in Sydney to celebrate this historic launch.

“We are excited to introduce Genesis AI to patients and hearing care professional in Australia and New Zealand,” said Dawn Rollings, Starkey’s Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand. Starkey has a rich history of pushing boundaries and breaking the limits with innovation. From the beginning, we have never wavered from providing exceptional service and are continuing to create groundbreaking technology while transforming the hearing aid.”
