EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA – Powered by innovation, Starkey is comprised of engineers, scientists, researchers, and audiologists, and has partnerships with tech giants around the world. It was this innovation that led to the launch of industry-leading Genesis AI last year, which has since become a flagship product.

Today Starkey unveils Signature Series, a brand-new line of custom hearing aids with world-first features, as well as exciting updates and enhancements to Genesis AI.

“The response to Genesis AI around the world has met and exceeded what we set out to do, but we aren’t stopping there. With the introduction of Signature Series, the world’s first fully custom rechargeable hearing aid, and even better sound quality to Genesis AI, Starkey continues its drive to deliver the most intuitive, convenient, and patient-driven hearing products in the industry—further proving the best never rests.”

–Brandon Sawalich, President and CEO at Starkey

First Fully Custom Rechargeable CIC Hearing Aid

The art of customization relies on the expertise of hearing healthcare professionals combined with Starkey’s artisan customization process and service to craft the ideal custom hearing aid.

Starkey is now unveiling Signature Series, the smallest line of custom products available, including three non-wireless custom hearing aids all with Starkey’s award-winning Neuro Sound Technology.

    • Signature CIC R NW — The world’s smallest custom rechargeable hearing aid, the all-new Signature CIC R NW is what patients and professionals have been asking for—an extremely discreet, rechargeable hearing aid that lasts up to 38 hours and, consistent with our Genesis AI rechargeable products, is waterproof*.
    • Signature CIC NW — For patients that prefer the flexibility of zinc-air batteries, we offer the flexibility of a battery-operated CIC NW.
    • Signature IIC NW — Nobody does invisible like Starkey, and no smallest-of-small hearing aid performs better than the new Signature Series IIC NW. It offers a solution for patients concerned with size and stigma.

Next Generation of Genesis AI Hearing Aids

When Genesis AI was introduced a year ago, it marked a new era for Starkey while setting the standard for premium plus technology. It was all-new everything, including all-new sound, delivering over 80 million automatic adjustments per hour to give patients unrivaled sound quality and ease of use.

Genesis AI continues to exceed expectations, thanks to two new features designed specifically to help patients hear clearly in more situations.

  • Edge Mode+ – Edge Mode+ has now become automatic once engaged. After the user turns on Edge Mode+, it continues to scan, adapt, and optimize as the wearer changes environments or as the environment they are in changes.
  • Motion-based optimization —Adaptive directional microphones now have the power of sensor technology embedded inside Genesis AI. This feature works in two ways:
    • Situational awareness — when activity-based motion, like walking or running, is detected, the microphones will switch to omni-directional to ensure more awareness of the patient’s surroundings and the best listening experience. Starkey’s research has shown motion-based optimization provides improved wind noise reduction during activity enhancing Genesis AI’s already impressive up to 35 dB in wind noise reduction.
    • Reduced Feedback —Small movements that impact the hearing aid placement, like chewing or putting on glasses or a hat, will activate our renowned feedback cancellation system to be at its most aggressive. A first-of-its-kind feature, this ensures no chirps or squeals escape.
