Four international start-ups from Germany, Denmark, and Belgium have been selected to present their innovations at the 69th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians, taking place in Nuremberg.
- AKmira Optronics
(Germany) will showcase an optical, non-contact 3D measurement technology for the auditory canal. This novel approach simplifies the production of earmoulds. - PERFI Technologies (Denmark), founded by researchers from the Technical University of Denmark, will introduce its ultra-fast 3D printing technology.
- OTOCONSULT (Belgium) will present Audiqueen, a software tool for managing and organizing audiological test results. The platform can be seamlessly integrated with a range of peripheral devices—such as audiometers—allowing test data to be automatically imported immediately after completion.
- AUGMENTED HEARING (Denmark) will unveil an AI-supported speech enhancement filter for real-time speech communication. This advanced audio tool improves speech intelligibility by separating speech and background noise in live audio streams.
EUHA President Beate Gromke emphasized the importance of providing visibility to emerging companies:
“Take the opportunity and find out about the start-ups’ innovations. The congress is ideal for obtaining first-hand information in personal dialogue.”
Dr. Stefan Zimmer, Chairman of the BVHI, added:
“The international industry exhibition offers young companies optimal conditions for their market entry. Our offer for start-ups allows newcomers to introduce themselves to the global hearing acoustics community free of charge and without complications.”
The selected start-ups will present their solutions in the centrally located EUHA Live-Area in Hall 7. As part of the Live-Area stage program, they will also give short presentations outlining their business concepts.
